Writer, Director, Producer Christy Hui is a media entrepreneur. A content creator at heart, Christy also brings global marketing expertise and strong business acumen to her work. She drives the creative vision for Amprion and oversees all facets of marketing, communications, and content productions.
With a proven track record in helping companies successfully launched products/ services worldwide, Christy has worked with such companies including Sony Pictures, DirecTV, and TV Guide, to name a few. While working at Sony, she was part of the launch team to develop, launch and grow AXN—an all action cable/satellite channel from inception into a highly popular pan-Asian network.
After a 15-year stint in corporate marketing, Christy founded her own media startup—ActionFliks—an animation studio that focuses on producing entertainment content for the kids audience.
Christy served as the creator and producer at Warner Brothers Animation on Xiaolin Showdown, an animated TV series she created at ActionFliks. The top-rated series became a global hit on Cartoon Network from 2003 to 2007 and ran for four seasons, earning two Emmy’s.
Currently, Christy is the founder and CEO at BrainLush Media, a studio that helps corporate clients craft impactful brand stories to drive connection and engagement with target audiences. She’s passionate about working with breakthrough companies that bring a positive impact to the world through their work. THE AMPRION STORY is a perfect example.
Christy earned her Executive MBA from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She’s fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese and loves writing her movie scripts in between Prion Patrols.
